    Not Coyote Tan

Posted by Unknown on Jan 13, 2020

Very soft and warm, but it is not the Coyote Tan needed for AF regulations. I had mentioned this when I picked it up, but the staff member noted that every jacket tends to be a different color. Would not purchase again.

Not Coyote. Propper Makes Good Stuff

Posted by Unknown on Nov 26, 2019

Excellent quality. Beware however, this is Tan 499 not Coyote. Tan 499 is required for Army but Air Force will require Coyote 498 in June 2020, which is a totally different color. "Coyote Tan" is not a real color and should be interpreted as Tan 499.

Quality warmth and comfort. NOT Coyote brown

Posted by Chaplain on Nov 15, 2019

I was impressed with the quality of construction and soft, warm fabric. However, the fleece was an odd yellow-tan color, much lighter than the Coyote brown required for Air Force OCP wear. I exchanged for a different color.

    OCP fleece

This is very warm and perfect. There seems to be two shades of coyote color but goes well with the OCP.
